•Chucky Atkins when asked about the status of his 3-point shot [by yours truly]: “The Long ball is better than ever! i ve had a great summer and had a lot of practice after 2yrs of injuries so its feel good”

•My personal favorite – Chris Wilcox on why he chose the #9 jersey: “maxiell has 54 so i just added it up”

•Ryan Pretzer: “Let me say, Rip is rocking a mohawk and it looks fantastic. I hope he keeps it and you all get a chance to see it.”

I hope he’s right, since we never “officially” got to see Rip’s Leonidas beard in action last season.

•Jason Maxiell when asked if he lost weight during the offseason: “nope not really i was really busy and when i went to Africa i didnt eat a thing but when i came back to the states i ate for days lol”

•Will Bynum: “i worked on my shot alot and my body i lost 15 pounds from last year to become quicker and jump higher and defend harder for long periods of time and i watched tons of film”

Wait…a Will Bynum that’s even quicker and has more hops? Now that’s frightening. In a good way.

I can’t tell you how much I respect seeing a 6′11″ NBA star making a little emoticon.
