Offseason Wrap-up
The “Who’s outta here” poll has come to a close, and it looks like most of you thought Rasheed had the best chance of being dealt away (32%), followed by Chauncey and Tayshaun (tied at 26%).
Well surprise, surprise…they’re all still here, intact for yet another season of the four core players, not to mention McDyess is still with us. Good or bad? Well, we’ll soon find out. I would imagine that Curry’s addition will shake things up a bit; whether they can make it past the Conference Finals- only time will tell. Should be able to make a better prediction after the first 10 regular season games or so.For all of us in the Pistons’ “crystal ball” business (a.k.a. bloggers), it’s pretty difficult to tell what Michael Curry’s tendencies and coaching style will bring to the table, in relation to player output. I have no doubt that the players respect him exponentially more than Saunders, which is a huge plus.
And don’t write Kwame Brown off if you’ve found yourself doubting him- he’s a very solid player who has steadily improved over the years. He’s been laughed off because he isn’t first overall pick material, but he is first round material. Count on him to be an efficient backup, it would be interesting to see him side by side in the post with Jason Maxiell.
Glad we got Herrmann back too, we have yet to see a fraction of what he’s made of.
Stay tuned- the preseason kicks off October 5 vs. the Miami Heat.

I would like to say that I’m happy to see our roster looking the way it is and that we didn’t deal anyone away for somebody that probably didn’t want to play for Detroit. And i’m happy to see that you updated the site cause the last time you posted something was on birthday. Can’t wait until the start of the season
