Afflalo scores 15; Pistons cruise past Heat 85-69
Arron Afflalo got the starting nod again for Rip Hamilton, and played 33 minutes- putting them to good use. He scored 15 points on 5-9 shooting, as well as had 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. Afflalo continues to fill in well for Rip, who continues to rest a sore hip.
Congrats to the Pistons for clinching another Central Division title.
Miami is currently using seven players recently called up from the D-League.
Pistons only made two 3s the entire game, and both came from Sheed.
Chauncey was moving the ball as usual and finished with 11 dimes.
Ricky Davis really speaks his mind. When asked about their overtime loss to the Knicks on Wednesday, Davis didn’t hesitate.
“I think the ball should go to my hands and we should’ve got better looks in overtime.”
I don’t know how much of that could be said tonight, he only managed 7 points and 2 assists in 44 minutes of action.

[...] The Pistons were shorthanded against the Heat last night but it really doesn’t matter does it? They were playing the Heat. Arron Afflalo replaced the injured Rip Hamilton in this one and the Heat defense forgot about him. He scored 15 points which is a career high for the yungun and played his normal stifling defense to help the Pistons get the 85-69 win. [...]
