Joakim Noah runs his mouth (again)
Apparently, the Pistons’ playoffs spot and a 20.5-game lead (you read right- 20.5) over the Chicago Bulls means nothing to Joakim Noah, everyone’s favorite rattling rookie.
Now Noah always has had a way with words- but these is fightin’ words- and fightin’ words that don’t make a lick o’ sense.
“I feel like we’re different, but I feel like at the same time, with our style of play, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have beat that team,” Noah said. “I think Detroit’s a great team, but I still feel like we’re better than them, really. I feel like we’re a better team.”
I’ve heard theories that regular-season records are meaningless, but our friend seems to be pushing it. Surely, a 46-17 team has to be considered a little better than one that’s already pushing 40 losses (26-38).
