Poor Shooting Leads to Defeat in Boston

rasheed-wallace-paul-pierce-glen-davis-3-5-08.jpgThe Pistons just couldn’t get anything going Wednesday night, leading to a 78-90 loss to the Boston Celtics.

ppbullet2.pngThe Pistons shot 36% in the game, while Boston shot 46%. Combined with Detroit getting out-rebounded by 12, they’re lucky they didn’t get blown out.

ppbullet2.pngGive Kendrick Perkins a lot of credit on Boston’s defensive end. He pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds and out-muscled the Pistons for the majority of the game.

ppbullet2.pngAnother good game for the Detroit backcourt duo, who scored a combined 38 points, including 14-15 from the stripe for Chauncey.
No answer for KG, who dropped 31 on the Pistons

ppbullet2.pngRasheed put together a solid shooting night, but I could have lived with 2 or 3 fewer 3-point attempts.

ppbullet2.pngA rare off-night for the Zoo Crew, who combined to score only 5 points. Once again, this shows that a victory is near-impossible when the bench is unable to contribute. Luckily, nights like this are rare.

ppbullet2.pngJason Maxiell almost nonexistent in this one, held scoreless with 2 rebounds and no blocks in over 18 minutes of action.

ppbullet2.pngJuan Dixon played for almost 14 minutes, Theo Ratliff sat this one out.

Pistons look to get back on track Friday against the Knicks.

well this is all flips fault. if he really wanted to win he would have played arron afflalo and walter herman. without those guys on the court the team just falls apart. shame on you flip. he should be fired!
