Sharpshooting Magic Snap Pistons’ Streak
The post-All-Star blues took over, and the Pistons got blown out at home at the hands of the Orlando Magic; 85-103. The loss snapped the Pistons’ 10-game win streak.
Orlando shot the lights out from downtown, they made 13 of their 20 attempts.
Former Pistons Mo Evans contributed to the field-goal frenzy, knocking down 4 of his 5 long balls and finishing with 16 points.
Rodney Stuckey came to play, and achieved yet another career high with 16 points- a team high. Stuckey continues to improve every game as his role gets bigger. Look for a key playoff role for Rodney.
On the plus side, Dwight “Superman” Howard was limited to only 8 points and 8 rebounds.
Sheed blocked Howard twice- you don’t see him getting blocked at all very often.
Bon Jovi and his crew were in attendance.
Detroit shot 38% from the field.
The Magic held the Pistons to 3 made field goals in the 3rd quarter.
Look for the Stones to get back on track against the 19-34 Bucks tonight at 8.
