Healthy Kings Beat Pistons at Home; 100-93

mike-bibby-1-18-08.jpgThe Kings’ roster is finally back to normal- and it appears as if their game is too. Sacramento pulled out an ugly win over the Pistons in Detroit Friday night to hand them their 11th loss of the season.

ppbullet2.pngIf you’re going to place blame on anyone for this loss, leave Chauncey and Rip out. Mr. Big Shot had another big night with 28 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. Although Rip’s 5 turnovers could have been a little less plentiful, he still finished with 24 points on 10-15 shooting.

ppbullet2.pngSheed was the only starter who didn’t manage well offensively. He only had 7 points on 3-12 shooting, and jacked up 2 or 3 too many long balls.

ppbullet2.pngWhat’s up with Ron Artest blowing kisses to the crowd? 5-13 shooting isn’t exactly anything to write home about.

ppbullet2.pngOddly enough, it seems as if our whole bench is in a slump. They were nowhere to be found last night, finishing with an awful 5 combined points, all coming from Jason Maxiell. These type of bench performances need to become much rarer, or be eliminated altogether, or the Pistons are going to be seeing a lot more L’s on the stat sheet.

ppbullet2.pngGood job defensively on John Salmons, a 17 PPG guard who was held scoreless last night.

ppbullet2.pngHopefully Rodney Stuckey can ease into the rotation better than he did last night, 0-4 shooting and 1 assist in 10 minutes.

The gruesome schedule continues tonight against the Pistons’ problem team- the Chicago Bulls. Should be an interesting one, to say the least. Tip-off at 8:30.
