Detroit Sets Sights on Breaking Boston’s Streaks

kevin-garnett-paul-pierce-12-19-07.jpgThe Pistons travel to Boston tonight with high hopes of knocking off the Celtics’ unbeaten home record of 12-0.

As if that wasn’t daunting enough, Boston is also in the midst of a 9-game win streak- the franchise’s first in 14 years.  And don’t forget that Kevin Garnett is largely thought of as the current front-runner for league MVP.

However, Detroit has their share of All-Stars too, and if anyone can beat the surging Celtics, it’s the Pistons.  You know these guys are going to be hanging around somewhere in the Eastern Conference Playoffs…

Who will temporarily be the “Beast of the East”?

Pistons-Celtics; tonight at 7:00 on ESPN.
