Rumor: C-Webb Considering Cavs

As if the free agency of Chris Webber wasn’t confusing enough already, here’s some more information for you.
As we know, Webber was only going to consider signing with the Pistons. However, a source close to Webber claims that he will now consider offers from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While the Cavs could use another big man in the post, I just wouldn’t feel right if such a talent went to THAT team. The Pistons aren’t in any dire need to sign him, but I miss C-Webb’s post moves and precision passes (I have mentally blocked out his playoff performance).
Time will tell what develops, if anything develops at all.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a C-Webb fan but it’s amazing the love affair Detroit fans have with Webb after only a half a season in a Pistons uni.

I’m a big Wolverines fan, so my love for C-Webb carried over, but you’re right in that sense anyway. And no, I don’t remember any embarrassing timeout calls…
